Guest guest Posted June 17, 2006 Report Share Posted June 17, 2006 Green Banana Salad 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 medium yellow onions, thinly sliced 2 1/4 lbs. green bananas, peeled, and sliced 1/4 " thick 2 tbsps. white wine vinegar salt to taste freshly-ground black pepper to taste juice of 1 lime Mix all the ingredients as for potato salad. Guest guest Posted June 18, 2006 Report Share Posted June 18, 2006 THis isn't my recipe but I use green bananas, they taste close to a plantain and not sweet when they are green, I've breaded and fried regular green babanas, very tasty.
