Guest guest
Welcome in here with us, where you by any chance at Benihana of Tokyo Japanese restaurant? This happened to me about 6 months ago, the man felt like a fool after he questioned me. I said, look we are 8 strangers here eating, I don't care what's on your plate so if you want to get along and have a pleasant meal then you don't need to care what's on mine. His mouth hung open, one couple had to hold in a good laugh and Richard my buddy date or whatever he is was shocked but happy I spoke out. The Japanese chef smiled and bowed his head! I'm a free spirit and I do what I want, it's no ones business and I don't have to explain myself or justify by beliefs. If they start on me I silence them real quick just like I did with the guy in Benihana's. There are a lot of people that call ghemselves vegetarians and yet they eat fish and chicken or use beef broth, eat Jello, I never did understand that. Over the years, the people that have given me the nmost hassle are the ones that end up vegetarian, it's some defensive thing, I think they wish they had the knowledge and will power to do it themselves. My brother-in-law and sister were the worse offenders and now they are veggies for over 4 years now. Guest guest
Donna, you are a woman after my own heart. I speak out freely, too, and would have probably said the exact thing!!! Guest guest
Thanks Donna! It was the Musashi's Japanese Restaurant in Savannah Georgia. It was our first time there. I enjoyed the food and plan to go back. Love your snappy reply! Good for you I guess I should also include a brief intro... I live in Georgia about 60 miles from Savannah (very rural area). I am married (29 years), I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. My husband and I own a truck company together (not a big deal just one truck LOL!). I used to drive but not any more. I keep up with the books and play around on ebay I love to do needlework (all types) and garden. I dabble in decorative painting (faux finishes ect..). -- Best regards, Vicki vickisdesigns Friday, June 16, 2006, 10:52:17 AM, you wrote: > > > > > > Welcome in here with us, where you by any chance at Benihana of Tokyo > Japanese restaurant?
