Honey Almond Crunch

1/2 cup slivered almonds

1/4 cup honey

1 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon grated orange peel

salt

2 1/2 cups corn flakes cereal

Combine almonds, honey, butter, orange peel and salt in a large nonstick

skillet. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until almonds are

golden. Remove from heat, add corn flakes and carefully mix. Spread on

buttered baking sheet. When cool, break into small pieces. Serves 7.

A mother of 7, I need to lay down.

This sounds good. I bet you could reduce the calories by putting it onto wax

paper/parchment paper instead of a buttered pan. I do that when I make sugared

almonds.
