Guest guest
Hey Group, Any body out there know how to roast and make those wonderful Jalapeno Peppers like they serve in the Mexican Restaurants? I have to take out the veins and seeds to cool the fire but I love the flavor and would love to know how to do it. Do they use lime juice? And what kind of seasonings? Guest guest
Deanna-I'm Chico, a new member. I roast jalapenos all the time. Do you have a heavy iron skillet? Get it hot and place the whole peppers in there, let them blacken, keep turning them. When done you can split them open, clean out the seeds and stuff with cream cheese and maybe some pimento too. This is how I do it. , " genny_y2k " <genny_y2k wrote: > > Hey Group, > Any body out there know how to roast and make those wonderful Jalapeno > Peppers like they serve in the Mexican Restaurants? > I have to take out the veins and seeds to cool the fire but I love the > flavor and would love to know how to do it. > Do they use lime juice?
