Dear Christie,

Thermals and brolli is a good idea.

Re: Hill Street Ice cream, Kulfi, Luton -

Christie

There are festivals on here all summer - Art Festival, Jazz & Blues

Festival, International Festival (music, dance, theatre), Festival

Fringe (similar, but a lot more of it and with comedy thrown in),

Book Festival, Film Festival, Interactive Entertainment Festival,

Politics Festival (that's a new one on me) and Media Festival - I

think that's all of them - it all starts in July with the art

Festival and rumbles along until the first week in September.

Edinburgh gets lots of visitors anyway but for those few weeks it is

really busy.

See you in winter, then, remember to pack your thermal vest! Christie
