Guest guest Posted June 9, 2006 Report Share Posted June 9, 2006 Russian Red, White Radish Salad 1 bunch young red radishes 1 bunch white radishes, scraped 1/2 cup grated raw young carrots 1/2 cup sour cream sugar to taste salt to taste lettuce leaves chopped parsley fresh dill, optional Trim red radishes; cut off roots and green leaves. Slice red and white radishes very thin. Combine vegetables, reserving a small amount of carrot to trim the salad when served. Mix sour cream with sugar and salt. Add vegetables; stir well. Make a mound of the salad in a salad bowl. Trim with lettuce leaves and small mounds of carrot. Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley, and dill if to your taste. Serve chilled.
