Guest guest
I am intrigued by your recipes, especially this one! I think I will try it, on a smaller scale, of course! Thanks Jeanne
Guest guest
Jeanne, A lot of people look at recipes that have oil in them and automatically think " Calories " and " fat " . Not all calories and not all fats are the same. One has to look at the cause. I subscrtibe to Ayurveda and it's principle because they are time tested and I believe they work. Some people have imbalances in their doshas or energies. If people have an imbalance in kapha, then they should not eat oils or fats or at least very little. Honey is the pacifying food for them ( in small quantities of course). Everyone needs fats and even cholesterol. Fats are used by our bodies to create hormones. If the hormones are out of balance, then dis-ease can result including obesity. We need fats for =our mucous membranes and beautiful skin. We even need cholesterol for the gall bladder to produce bile. Sometime I will write about foods and food combining if people would like. Best luck with the Royal Pickle. It is good but I have not tasted it in quite a few years. GB , BJ <pinemeadows wrote: > > I am intrigued by your recipes, especially this one!
