Guest guest
In digest #933, Mike asked: " I notice they all say to use frozen spinach - is it better than fresh for this? " ~ Yes, in my opinion it is better in these dip recipes. #1 it is easier to just thaw the stuff out and then you can squeeze out the extra moisture. Also the texture of the chopped frozen over fresh cooked and chopped just seems less... well for lack of a better way to describe it, less squeaky. *lol* Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my fresh cooked spinach, but just not in these dips. Enjoy the recipes and let us know what you cobble up! :::iced tea glass salute::: ~ PT ~ Everything in time becomes... a sort of weather-guage. The sun, the moon, the clouds, the winds, the mists, the trees, the flowers, the herbs and almost every animal. All these become... instruments of real knowledge. ~ The Shepherd of Banbury's Rules
