Guest guest
My kids and I have been going to quite a few vegetarian pot lucks (Isn't it wonderful!!). The food has been great, but nothing filling for the kids. There is always a lot of fruit, maybe a pbj or two, a few pasta salads (which my kids could care less about), any ideas what would be a filling dish for the kiddies? I'm thinking a casserole? Maybe mashed potato somethings?? I made smoothie cup pocicles. These were good for the kids, but it's more like an after lunch dessert. I made smoothies: bananas, canned pineapple w/ juice, frozen fruit, and fruit juice to make smooth. I put this in those small bathroom cups w/ a popcicle stick and froze. These worked for veggies and vegans;) Thanks for any ideas! Nicole
