GeGee Tarragon and Apple Marinade 1 cup apple cider 1/3 cup cider vinegar 1/3 cup sliced scallions 3 tbsp. honey or maple syrup 1/4 cup vegetable oil 2 tbsp. steak sauce (make sure it's veg.) 1 1/2 tsp. dried tarragon 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper 1 Pound tofu steaks In a small saucepan combine all ingredients except tofu. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered 15 minutes let cool 5 minutes. Place tofu steaks in a large bowl. Add apple tarragon marinade. Cover and marinate, turning occasionally, 1 to 3 hours at room temperature or refrigerate overnight. Sneak preview the all-new .com. It's not radically different. Just radically better.
