Crock Pot Baked Beans

1 lb. pink beans

Sprinkle of liquid smoke

Salt near end of cooking

1/4 c. Gulden's or another brand mustard

1/3 to 1/2 c. ketchup

1/2 c. brown sugar

1/2 c. molasses

1 onion, chopped

Soak beans overnight in crock pot. Next morning, cook in water until tender.

Drain excess water until just under top of beans. Add all ingredients. Several

hours. Stir once in a while. Season to taste.

This is a favorite of all my friends when we have a party.

Hi Crystal.. Sounds good... I will be trying this one..

Are you cooking the beans after soaking in the same water and is your

temperature on low or High ... Do you add more water after soaking

overnight?? how long do you cook it after the beans are tender and you

add the rest of the ingredients.....??? Thanks

Hi Bernadette, you can change the water and cook on high for a few

hours, then drain the excess water off and add the rest of the

ingredients and continue to cook. I have made them with the soaking

water too. I cook on high for a few hours and then on low. Each of

my 2 crockpots cooks differently so you might have to adjust cooking

temps. Enjoy the beans, Crystal
