Guest guest
i wash the lettuce and other veggies and just shake and toss them a bit in a collendar. i don't dry them by hand or anything like that. Thanks for the recommendations. i don't think we have BB & B here.... but there is a nice kitchen gadget store downtown that is locally owned, not a big chain store. i bet they have a a decent one there. ~ pt ~ The more you love, the more you can love and the more full is your love. Guest guest
I would do the same before the spinner days and actually like that the lettuce is still cold and a bit wet. It would seem even crispier and better for some reason. Now that I make a big bag of salad for future meals the moisture would make it go bad in the zip lock more quickly hence the salad spinner from here on out. S.
