drying lettuce...

i wash the lettuce and other veggies and just shake

and toss them a bit in a collendar. i don't dry them

by hand or anything like that.

 

Thanks for the recommendations. i don't think we have

BB & B here.... but there is a nice kitchen gadget store

downtown that is locally owned, not a big chain store.

i bet they have a a decent one there. :)

I would do the same before the spinner days and actually like that the

lettuce is still cold and a bit wet. It would seem even crispier and better

for some reason.

 

Now that I make a big bag of salad for future meals the moisture would make

it go bad in the zip lock more quickly hence the salad spinner from here on

out.
