Guest guest
Oh yeah, you bet. Many cheeses here in the USA are made with vegetable rennet. i see someone already posted some helpful links. [thank you] Also, one thing i have always found easy to do is to just type a quick email to the companies. They are often very quick to respond back with specific details about the content of their products. If you don't see a brand you like on one of those lists available on vegetarian info sites don't hesitate to email and ask the company yourself. About a year or so ago one of our members, Megan, went to the trouble to compile a current list by contacting all the cheese companies she knew of. i think we saved a copy or link to it in our files. If not she would probably send us another copy if you are interested. ~ pt ~ " All of us begin to rethink what is good about ourselves - put the past where it belongs - and get on with the possibilities of the present!
