What sort of apple peeler do you have? Is it the sort that clips on the counter top that pampered chef sells? i was going to get one of those, but opted instead for the apple slicer-corer. Seemed just as easy to push it down on the apples and then peel each slice section. I did make one, and I did love it... but I'm getting the practice at work making apple pies, apple blackberry pies, and apple raspberry crisps! I have a corer/wedger thing too, but it's a Leifheit one from Williams-Sonoma - the toughest one I found, and it cuts 12 instead of 8 wedges. I usually use that if I'm going to leave the peel on (like for a snack or for a pb/apple sandwich). > Love those kitchen gadgets! me too... but I have been able to simplify so much in all other rooms, I'm loking to simplify there too!
