Hey and Hi

I just landed and I am checking a few emails...well 200 actually.

It is great that you are increasing your cardio. Little and often is most

beneficial. Minimum 20 minutes ideal 30 minutes and best 40 minutes,

(non-stop).

If you can start a regular regime of 20 minutes a day three to four times a week

you will see and feel improvements in 5 weeks.

Hey don't forget to smile!

Walking or running all the same. Just increase that heart rate a little.

Of course now I have to add the best advice in the world that you should see

your family doctor prior to a major change in exercise regime and get some

motivation by getting a little stepometer from Wal-Mart and share the joys of

exercise with a friend. Take a small bottle of water too.

Hey have fun!

Best wishes

Hi Amy! Thanks for responding. :-D I have just

started adding exercise to my plan. When my son was

younger (still small enough for the stroller), it was

easy for us to walk several miles a day. As he got

older, walks became more difficult because he always

wanted to stop and look at leaves, bugs, etc...typical

boy stuff. LOL! Last weekend, he finally got good at

riding his scooter, so I have been taking him to our

local park and having him scoot around for exercise,

while I walk beside him. I have to keep a pretty good

walking pace to keep up, so I'm sure I'm getting good

exercise. :-D

I hope I see the health benefits your husband did! I'm

so eager for January to get here so I can see just how

much weight I lose and how much better my blood

pressure and other readings get. :-D
