Guest guest
i found this recipe in an old cookbook of mine called 'The Ananda Cookbook'. i have used this recipe over and over, and with different combinations of vegetables; i also adapted it smaller as the original recipe made way too much for our family as a side dish. Feel free to try it your own way with broccoli or brocciflower, etc. It is delicious! Lemon- Herb Cauliflower 1 large head cauliflower 1/4 cup butter 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tsp. basil 1/2 tsp. oregano Salt and pepper, to taste 3 Tbs. lemon juice or more, to taste 1/2 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese Paprika Break cauliflower into florets and steam until crisp-tender. Saute butter and garlic for several minutes. Add herbs and lemon juice. Arrange cauliflower in a baking dish. Add butter mixture and stir well to coat. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and dust top with paprika. Bake at 375û for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted. Yield: 4 servings ~ pt ~ WalMart is going in and slaughtering [small towns] just as people once killed the buffalo. ~ Garrison Keillor
