Guest guest
I bought two packages of tempeh this week and have for the first time been experimenting with cooking it. I would love to hear from people on what their favorite way of cooking it is? I so far have used it diced up and sauteed with onions, carrots and celery the way you might ground meat for a spaghetti sauce. And, i diced it up and sauteed it to put over salad. There must be other ways of using it besides just frying/sautee-ing it? -- Jesika J jesikaj
Guest guest
I made a " tuna " salad type thingy once... sautee the tempeh with some spike and kelp powder. let it cool. add some veganaise and relish (and whatever else you would put in tuna salad) enjoy on a sandwich... i also slice it in half and fry it to make a sandwich with it with all my fav trimmings. I did a BBQ tempeh (baked it with BBQ sauce) once. There are some great ideas in Garden of Vegan. ~Mel --- Jesika J <jesikaj wrote: > > I bought two packages of tempeh this week and have > for the first > time been experimenting with cooking it.
