No that is a bland looking squash. Only ever seen not tasted.

About 12 to 18 inches long and about 4 to 5 inches in diameter

The picture I sent previously is something that is sometimes called a

spaghetti squash (over here). I think what I do with that is something

similar to your marrow recipe that you mentioned (sort of).

 

I cut the squash in half and steam both or place in the oven as you

mentioned. It moistens the fibers (?) and they become loose (looking stringy

and I suppose like mini spaghetti pasta - as per the name). You can then add

butter and herbs or add a marinara sauce to it.

 

Your mixture sounds a bit more intriguing and exotic though. lol.
