You get a taste of everything. ~ Yes, something for everyone that way. It is fun on those domino party nights. None of us eat a sit-down dinner on those evenings, but we sure get enough to eat just nibbling those snacks all night long in between our games. *lol* > Don't you also have some type of pizza dip or pizza thing that is popular? > Pizza or pizza flavored things always seem to go over well with the kids. ~ Oh yeah! i forgot to tell Robin about all the hot and cold dips and spread recipes. That pizza one is always a big hit with both kids and adults. Here it is re-posted: Pepperoni Pizza Dip 1 package (8oz) cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup sour cream 1/8 tsp oregano 1/8 tsp garlic powder 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper 1/2 cup pizza sauce 3/4 cup finely chopped green pepper 10 vegetarian pepperoni slices, quartered 1/4 cup sliced green onions 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Toasted bread rounds or breadsticks In a mixing bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Spread into an ungreased 9-inch pie plate. Cover with pizza sauce; top with green pepper, pepperoni and onions. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5 to 8 minutes more or until cheese is melted. Serve with bread rounds or bread sticks. Yield: 8 to 10 servings > There is also that always classic and interactive, " Create Your Own Sundae > or Banana Split " bit. I don't remember what diet your dd has Robin but you > can get an ice-cream and have the variety of toppings ready so that they can > build their own creation and consume. ~ That is a very good idea. Crushed candy bars, cookies, toppings etc. Also build your own taco salads are nice for a more food-like less sweet idea. Any sort of customized build-your-own dish works well for party gatherings. My daughter is a pesca-pollo omnivore. She basically just abstains from eating furry critters. i think one day she will quit eating them as she has developed a discriminating palate that enjoys healthy vegetarian cooking. My son is a big challenge though. He doesn't like most vegetables no matter what. i sneak them in on him as much as i can get away with. He is wicked fussy! ~ pt ~ Doctor, if only you could see how heaven pulls earth into its arms and how infinitely the heart expands to claim this world, blue vapor without end. ~ part of a poem by Lisel Mueller titled Monet Refuses The Operation
