What happened? Sorry it didn't turn out well. Curious as to how the processes went, though. I know you use a cheesecloth to hang and drain out the excess liquid. I've even seen someone (on a cooking show) make homemade mozzarella. The mixture would be in hot water and he'd dunk his hands in this scalding water and transfer the mixture to a bath of iced water and work it (if I'm remembering it correctly). That reminds me of something else I've always wanted to make (and yet it is easy). A platter of sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, basil and fresh mozzarella. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with course salt and pepper. of course, i have made your vegan melty > cheese numerous times and love it. Ever since trying your awesome recipe for salsa that called for canned tomatoes and " cumin " , I've been addicted to cumin. I've been adding that to the vegan melty cheese. Love it. Gotta make the salsa next - got several cans 'o maters in the pantry.
