Hi! Thanks so much for the invitation to join. I have only been

following a vegan diet since 9/26/05. I honestly thought it would be

harder to avoid all animal products, but it really hasn't. I cut out

not only animal products, but also artificial sugars, refined sugars,

white flour, diet sodas, etc. I am hoping that this change will

benefit my health by helping me to lose weight and lower my blood

pressure. So far, this week, I have lost nine pounds (I started at

304lbs), and I have gained loads of energy. I am looking forward to

learning more vegan recipes that I can try to help myself become lean

and healthy. :-D

that is AWESOME PAT! =) Welcome to the group!

and you went vegan on my wedding anniversary!

THis is a life change you are making, and no small one either, I " m

thrilled with your gained energy, and the huge change to your diet! if

you ever need to talk about it, i'm here!

 

I am really impressed and hope you'll keep us posted
