I honestly thought it would be harder to avoid all animal products, but it really hasn't. I cut out not only animal products, but also artificial sugars, refined sugars, white flour, diet sodas, etc. I am hoping that this change will benefit my health by helping me to lose weight and lower my blood pressure. So far, this week, I have lost nine pounds (I started at 304lbs), and I have gained loads of energy.
