Guest guest Posted September 25, 2005 Report Share Posted September 25, 2005 this was also in our files: Main%20Dishes/ Sausages 1 19 oz can chick peas 1 14 oz can BBQ style beans 1 cup instant mashed potatoes 2 eggs 1 package onion soup mix Puree the peas and beans in a food processor or mash fine with a fork. Add the eggs and onion soup mix and mix it well. Add the instant mashed potatoes in and mix well. Refrigerate for 2 hours so it is easier to handle. Make into weiners with greased hands. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees. When they are brown on the bottom, roll them over and brown the top. (My DS prefers these to meat sausages and he is an avid meat eater so they must be good. We are having them with brown gravy and french fries instead of in a bun.)
