~ Me too! i love the festival of food without the

pressure of gifts. Just nice people, lots of food,

and delightful conversation. At our gathering

we are all asked to bring something to share

both food-wise and personal... like a poem, song,

talent etc. Our family always works on a few songs

and we bring the guitar and music sheets so folks

can sing along.

i must say, in years past the talent shared in

dance, song, and performace arts was simply

wonderful. However, with the popularity of home

kareoke machines, the offereings have gone

wAaaaaay downhill. Those things are horrid! *lol*

That said, i still sing a mean 'Love Shack' by the B52s!
