Guest guest
Good morning this fine Tuesday. i am up and making a macaroni salad for dinner already, can you believe it? *lol* i am so excited as my Mom is due in at the Medford, OR. airport at 2pm today! Yay! i haven't seen her in over 2 years. She is just gonna freak out when she sees how big my kids have gotten. Anyway, here is the question of the week reminder. i have really enjoyed reading all the replies from those of you that have responded. Again, this is just for fun, so no pressure to join in the discussion, but we would all like to hear your answers if you haven't posted in this thread already. QOTW: September 18th - 24th [this week's " question " is more than just one] Which holiday is your absolute favorite? Which holiday comes a close second? Do you do anything special or make a signature dish that family and friends expect and look forward to? Have a blessed Tuesday! ~ pt ~ One person can make a difference and every person should try. ~ John F Kennedy

I guess it would be Thanksgiving. That joyous feeling is in the air around this time (in anticipation of Xmas) and the weather is usually pretty nice out. I like getting together with family and friends with that spirit about, eating like a king and not having to worry about exchanging gifts. That being said my least favorite American holiday is Black Friday, LOL. Which holiday > comes a close second? Anything weekendy to have a good excuse to grill. Independence Day is nice. I like the flags, professionally done fireworks and the spirit but I don't like the goofnuts who drink and light off fireworks in the streets and such. Another goodie is Cinco de Mayo. Good excuse to make alot of Mexican dishes. Do you do anything special or > make a signature dish that family and friends expect > and look forward to? Yes, they look forward to seeing me. Har-dee-har har. d:o)> Have fun with your Mom, PT! S.
