Guest guest
i totally agree... that Imagine brand vegetable stock and vegetarian no-chicken stock is the best. So easy and fool proof. Plus it is all organic. Sometimes i am able to find it on sale for wicked cheap at this grocery outlet store; then i sure " stock " up. [ oh that was bad, sorry, but it was true *lol*]. Ron, you should check it out. You will love it, and it will make your cooking taste wonderful. It is also cost effective when you add up the price of the organic veggies it would take to make a rich delicious broth stock. i have a box in my fridge right now. Check it out at http://www.imaginefoods.com If you want to make your own broth, i would suggest following the veggies they list on the box: filtered water, organic carrot concentrate, organic onion concentrate, organic celery concentrate, sea salt, organic granulated onion, organic granlated garlic, organic black pepper. ~ pt ~ God is seated in the hearts of all. ~ Bhagavad Gita ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> replying to this digest post: " melissa_hopp " <hoppmel Re: new here and vegetable stock I like the boxed (ascpetic type package) stocks/broths that you can buy in health sections/better stores...Imagine is a brand that comes to mind...there is also a no-chicken broth one. I always have boxes of both on hand - I use the veggie stock in many, many things - a little here, a lot there - if I don't use a whole box I just mark the date on the lid and store it in the fridge...it will keep for 7-10 days, but I always finish it off well before then.
