Guest guest
You are very welcome. i hope you will have fun making these for gifts. Now i see no reason a person would have to add the tvp or veggie ground to this recipe, and it should work great to use fake chicken flavored bouillon in place of the fake beef flavored broth powder. Maybe you could give them a can of corn or suggest some other veggie to add to the soup to replace the veggie groun, or just leave them out. There is another one of these soup mix gift ideas in the files already; i think it is called Hearth Soup Mix. It doesn't call for any broth powders or veggie ground as far as i recall. It is more of a 15 bean soup type mix that gets layered in a jar. i could re-post it if you want me to. We made those one year for gifts and i gave one to a friend. Two months after the holidays her husband called me up to rave about it and asked me for more low-fat vegetarian soup recipes because he was on a diet due to health issues. He was a real big meat eater. ~ pt ~ True wisdom is less presuming than folly.
