The cheese-beans was the casserole I made...it has apples in and is not really a casserole, I guess? At our cider squeeze they use old fashioned cider presses. Families own them and go to cider squeeze's all around the area at this time of year, just for the fun of it...some of them are truly old, some are home made, one guy has a bike one - he was not at the squeeze this year. So you get truly fresh squeezed cider - they set up an apple washing station for clean apples and discourage you from collecting apples off the ground. You can bring your own jugs, or purchase them there. They do recommend boiling it, and we always do when we get home, with kids it just is reassuring...and I love the smell in the kitchen that day!!
