Guest guest
Hi all. I bought some dried chiles (in order to make Susies chile oil dressing). I'm going to have plenty left over and wonder if you all have ideas on what else could be made. The dried chiles are of the " arbol " and " pasilla " variety. I have made a sauce by rehydrating arbols before and adding some of the spices and some of the rehydrating liquid but am looking for other ideas too. These dried chiles are so cheap down here! I've been wanting to try this type of product forever. I don't think this is going to be as good as some of the homemade ones I've heard about. This is just jalps, sweeteners, vinegar etc. where as the homemade versions I've seen are like habanero/peach or jalapeno/strawberry which sound amazing. Oh well, this will be a good start to see on whether I'll be hooked or can't stand it. Very excited though - will let you all know how it is.
