Guest guest
I have free time so I'm trying to post a few recipes that I love and haven't had time to post, I dug some out this morning while I was trying to organize my books. I finally found this Amish book I have been looking for. I couldn't imagine where it went. My Mom had it in the bottom of her knitting basket..LOL I really missed this recipe a lot. You can use dried cranberries or cherries. They work just fine. Matter of fact I was going to post that as a note at the bottom of the recipe. I always try to post any changes or substitutions. They are truly the best. Enjoy! They freeze well too. Donna glpveg4life wrote:Hi Donna: These sound really good. I will probably be the only one in my house that eats them but that's ok. More for me. My husband and daughter do not eat raisins. I wonder if I could substitute another dried fruit like blueberries? Gayle
