And I do remember the " seltzer man " delivering a case of the spritz bottles maybe every other week. I don't remember having any soda around the house, just seltzer. It was a treat then to go to the soda fountain and get a Coke. Despite what some of the articles said, NY wasn't the ONLY place that made egg creams as fountain drinks. We had them in Jersey.
