Guest guest
Mmmm, if we have an early dinner and I'm up past 10, I usually find myself hungry. Sometimes toast & pb will tie me over, but othertimes I want something more substantial. So I make myself a bowl of oatmeal, using milk instead of water and add brown sugar and raisins. It keeps me all night long and I don't wake up starving. Sometimes when all other food just sounds yucky I've found that I can eat oatmeal. Of course when I was going through " morning " sickness all I could eat were smoothies! As I head into my fourth month I am feeling much better but I've already noticed a huge difference with my appetite. I am pretty much back to eating normal again (with a few extras here & there to keep up with the necessary calorie intake). But, I use to love all kinds of vegetables and now I'm finding that I have to force myself to eat them. I used to love brocolli and even just thinking about turns me off. However, I've never been a big fruit eater and now I am. I guess my body knows what it's lacking. I can no longer eat bananas (I ate too many during the nausea times) I do eat lots of grapes, plums, nectarines, tomatoes, peaches and prunes. And I just got a lovely cantelope from my friend's garden. Can't wait to cut into that this weekend! Denise
