I see them, all the time at Bed Bath & Beyond, Target Linen and Things, and even

Sears. I've had mine for years and it came from a store called Home Express but

they aren't in business out here anymore as far as I know. Donna

I ask Donna before about what type of wok to buy. However, I failed to ask

where I could actually BUY an electric wok! Does anyone have an idea where I

can get one?

Yup..I've seen them at Target & BB & B...a couple years back I bought

a regular wok from BB & B & I use it all the time, it sits on the

stove and is made of heavy metal (I'm awful, don't know what kind),

like cast iron you rinse it without soap, it is huge and I can do

big stir fries in it which I needed.

By the way Donna & all, I am loving my cast iron skillet - I got a

12 inch one & have used it regularly since I got it - I splurged and

got a splatter guard with it, which has been great - I also got a

silicone thingy that slips on the handle which I really love - I'm

eager to try a frittata type recipe with it, since I can put it in

the oven (the skillet not the silicone thingy).

Any of you familiar with durian? My friends in Singapore bought

moon cakes last week and ended up with one containing durian...they

all steered clear of it, though encouraged the kids to try it, the

older boys would not, the 2 year old girl took a bite and loved it

and devoured the whole thing. She then spent the evening giggling

as she breathed durian breath on every one and the parents said she

was stinky gassy the next day...
