Guest guest
Hi Donna: Thank you, I won't use the asparagus. I realized I don't have any brown rice only white rice, so I will have to stop at the store and buy some rice. If I go to a store with a salad bar I will also pick up a little bit of celery and carrots. Oatmeal also sounds good again no one else in my family eats oatmeal. I usually buy the instant kind and keep it at work in case I want it for breakfast during the week. I also have a couple of boxes of cold cereal and soy milk so I can have that for breakfast. Enjoy your oatmeal. Gayle
Guest guest
No, don't use the asparagus. I did that once in my cooking self educationg. It will turn to mush, better to steam it. I used to have folders of recipes like that also. I decided to tape them in blank journal books. I have one for side dishes, one for main dishes, one for baked goods, etc. Makes it so much easier. I toss recipes I haven't tried in the folder now. If it's good I tape in the book and try to get it posted here and if bad I toss the recipe. Happy Sunday, I'm ready to make some steel cut oatmeal........................Donna glpveg4life wrote: Hi Donna: That sounds good however I don't think I have either things in the house right now... I may have some frozen carrots if I dig thru the freezer... I think I also have some frozen asparagus not sure that would be good in rice and beans.
