It's been $3.99 a lb. everywhere even at the Farmers Market for the last several

months. Earlier in the year it was $1.99. I'm guilty of breaking off the huge

white bottoms before I buy it.......LOL Think they have me on camera???????????

well, at least I don't feel so bad... We were getting it at THE

farmer's market in LA (the one attached to the grove) for 50 cents to

1.50 a bunch before we left just over a year ago...

man I was hooked on fresh asparagus!

 

I also miss good cheap avocados... they are usually $1.99 each here.

 

but I did get my broccoli, bell peppers, zuchini, yellow squash,

carrots & some fruit each at a dollar a pound this week.. so I was

happy.

 

I'll start saving up all the money I'm not spending on asparagus to

save to get you out of jail! hee hee!
