Guest guest
I bake it all the time. It's perfect for the small toaster oven but either way it works. I peel off any outer skins that are ready to fall off only, don't detach the cloves or peel. I put a spray of canned cooking oil spray on top of the bulb and sprinkle non-salt seasoning like Mrs. Dash or Spike over the bulb . Wrap tightly in foil, crimp the edges completely shut. Sit on a small try in oven for about 40 mins. on 350 degrees. You can press the garlic right out of the cloves on top of your bread, etc. Tastes better than garlic butter with almost zero calories. I have to bake about 8-10 bulbs each Thanksgiving since all of us eat almost a whole bulb each. Enjoy! Donna glpveg4life wrote:Has anyone ever roasted or baked up a head of garlic. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Gayle
