Guest guest
This I found on the Internet, needed to use up the other portion of chipotle peppers in the can once I opened it. Very pleasant surprise dip/spread. " Two Bean Chipotle Hummus " 1 15 1/2 oz. can chickpeas (garbanzo) rinsed and drained 1 15 1/2 oz. great northern beans rinsed and drained 1/2 chipotle pepper (Susie & Shawn will use the whole pepper) 3 garlic cloves 2 Tblspns. lemon juice 1 Tblspn. tahini, peanut butter or peanut oil (I used the peanut butter) 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/4 tsp. black pepper dash of salt if needed Place garlic, chipotle pepper, lemon juice and tahini in a blender or food processor and pulse until chopped. Add in beans and pulse adding a tiny bit of water at a time until it reaches the smoothness you like. Stir in pepper, paprika and salt to taste and refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes a good spread or dip. " First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, then there is. Caterpillar sheds his skin to find a butterfly within..........
