Guest guest
I know lots of people who have purchased PC stoneware and then not known how to use it. In fact one lady who had a party with me was complaining that she couldn't get her stoneware clean. That there were still brown spots and she had tried everything even the dishwasher! YIKES! Don't ever put it in the dishwasher. The first couple of times of use lightly grease the stone (use butter instead of oil), or bake something that has a high fat content. As Jane mentioned, you can cook anything that won't roll or pool off. So, biscuits, pizza, calzones, cookies, cinnamon rolls, other breads where form doesn't matter. Cathrine and anyone else, I have some left over Pampered Chef mini-cookbooks that have some fun recipes that are easily converted to vegetarian. If any of you want one email me your address at my email: organic_homestead. I think I have about 10 extra. A fun recipe, which isn't necessarily the healthiest is using the Pillsbury breads and crescents with different fillings. If anyone is interested, I can post a couple of these.
