I'm in Calif. and I buy Texas ruby red grapefruits..LOL We have some out of

this world heirloom tomatoes, they are kind of expensive but what a taste. Do

you like those? Donna

When I bought tomatoes a few days ago my choices were between grown in Canada

and grown in California - I'm in West Texas - sigh

love grapefruit, haven't seen heirloom tomatoes 'round here ( this is a very

small town). have been growing my own tomatoes but we had an unusual cold snap

that killed everything I had planted this year. in the process of turning a weed

patch into a yard i've been burying my garbage and always plant seeds from

veggies i buy to eat. now have baby tom.and lettuce plants comin' up, hopefully

they'll mature before the cold weather starts!! also cantalope, pumpkin,

spagetti, acorn squash ( hopefully, that's what the seeeds were, wont know which

is which 'till they bear fruit! learning to garden by doing/screwing up/doing

different. its fun
