Guest guest
I was leary about the silicone pans but I can't find any info that they are dangerous. The are perfect for baking, your breads pop right out and easy clean up. I have a baking stone pizza pan thingy, I can take it or leave it. The only worn metal one works fine. Now I love my Romertopf (it's from Germany and I think that's the spelling) I have 3 sizes and those make the best clay pot meals. The 15 minute pre-soak in cold water first makes all the flavors mix when everything bakes. Does anyone else use a clay pot? I love to just toss veggies in there with seasonings and a little broth or water and that's it.......................Donna Jenni Billings <jenni wrote: what about silicon pans?? I've seen them but am too worried about what might be seeping into my food to actually buy them! =) and what about stones (no, not the rolling ones.. the baking ones?) anyone fond of stone bakeware? I use a stone pizza thing, and bake my bread on that everytime.. =) jenni On Friday, August 19, 2005, at 01:05 PM, Gary Mattingly wrote: > I've bought about 7 or 8 silicone hot pads > and a pair of silicon mits and also a silicon > baking sheet.
