We got out May 27 too...Theatre is required as a Fine

Arts credit (they also have choir, band, dance, art to

choose from) We also don't have English electives...

What stunk was we only got one day to work on our own

in our room...the rest of the time was taken up as

" school wide " things that they have told us the past

three years. Not much changed and we could have gotten

through it all in one and a half days. Blah.

I am so dreading today too.,.yuck. I have HUGE classes

and the SPED coordinator came up to me and said:

" Melissa if 6th period is too much for you let me

know. " I looked at my list and it's 45 kids, 20 of

which are SPED and I will bet most are on BIP

(Behavior improvement plans) as last year I had the

same situation with that period. Anything over 20 is

horrid in a theatre class too. All of my classes are

over 30! Our school is supposed to cap at 2400 and we

have 2554 enrolled! Scary year ahead. Much gripes to

ensue...

I thought about English, but as I am sure everyone has

noticed I am grammar and spelling deficient. :D I love

doing lit though. Love analysis and oral interp kinds

of things.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have so many serious

learning challenged children (or whatever the current

term of the moment is) I have aides in 3 classes. I

have 5 in my first period, 6 in my 6th period (four of

which are down syndrome kids, 2 of which are

wheelchair bound) and 5 in my 7th period. I couldn't

understand a word this one young lady said and she

talks...A lot. My 6th period is the class with 45 kids

too. I am also traveling from the front to the back of

the school for 3 rd and 6 th...it's a 1/2 mile one

way...so I get 2 miles of walking AT LEAST everyday. I

am so tired. Bed time...it's 5:45.
