Guest guest
You read the Mad Cowboy by Howard Lyman? I have been to two veggie dinners where he was speaking, I have his signed book. It's unbelievable, isn't it? Is your friend going to change over? I have my fingers crossed, have her join the group and she can scan our recipe files and see there's tons of good dishes to cook. ..... She was curious because she has been thinking about the switch for a few years as well. We had a chat. She asked me why I switched and I told her abotu reading You Don't Need MEat and also the The COwboy Who Doesn't Eat MEat. Both books made me sick to my stomach with all teh junk and crap they were talking about. The second book tells about the animal parts and ANIMALS they send to the rendering plants. FOr heavens sake... I did not know that many of the animal shelters and places that euthanize pets and strays send those dead animal bodies to rending plants ... which then this ground mix of animal parts is then used for animal feed and so forth. I thought I was going to throw up! J Lyn
