Have you tried any of > those types of mixes on the grill? ~ i have used the nature burger mix many times, but not on the grill right off the bat. i have always pre-fried them so they would hold together on the grill, then sprayed it with olive oil spray. i also have to put my veggie stuff on separate heavy foil or one of those grill pans with the holes since my dh is a meathead. *lol* My first thought with you and that Nature Burger mix is that you might find it a bit bland. Add some jalaps or stir in some pica de gallo... that'll jazz'em up! ~ pt ~ It is not sufficient for us to study the most excellent things unless we do it in the most excellent of manners... and that is impossible to find till we are guided thereunto by the most excellent end. ~ Thomas Traherne, 'Centuries'
Guest guest
Thanks PT. I mixed up the nature burger mix and the black bean burger mix (minus the breadcrumbs and eggs until it gets cooked) last night and will be pan frying them then grilling them either today or tomorrow. I put some cilantro, onion, garlic, cayenne and oregano along with a bit of parm in the nature burger mix (equal part burger mix with equal part boiling water). Will see how it turns out. Can't wait. Btw, it is preseason (NFL). Good luck to your hub on those fantasy picks! S.
