Guest guest
and it was good! Yes, I did add some tomatoes. I always keep the canned stewed toms around. I cut them up into smaller pieces and added a bit of the juice. I didn't use the whole can. And, I did cook the onions in butter instead of oil. I figure I can get away with that right now. James really liked it, too. If fact he has liked every recipe that I've made from this group! He really likes the lentil loaf! My late night snack recently has been oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar. It seems to be a good food to eat late (I'm usually hungry around 10pm) and it sticks with me through the night. Although this morning I woke up so hungry I made myself french toast. I've never been that ambitious in the morning before! LOL I'm going on 3 weeks of no nausea! Oh, I'm so grateful that didn't last too long. It was soooo depressing. I tasted my first garden cucumber today (from my friend's garden). Made a cheese and cucumber sandwich. Oh, it was so good and crunch! I don't think my cucumbers will survive, the squash is really taking over! Denise
Guest guest
Great you liked the recipe. I sometimes add celery to it also. It's just a good old hearty dish. Happy knowing you are feeling fine. You don't want the nausea around with all your good veggies and recipes you cook up. Hugs, Donna organic_homestead <organic_homestead wrote: and it was good!
