Guest guest
I dunno where my watermelon souprecipe is at the moment :-7, although I remember it was pureed melon with some cayenne, maybe lemon juice...in any case, I ran across this one from my files instead, and remembered how yummy it is. This is a sweet dessert soup 10 plums 1/4 to 1/2 c water 1c sugar (or more, depending on the sweetness of the plums) lemon juice to taste Cut plums in half and remove pit. Place in a pot with the sugar and water. Cook over low heat until the soft and the juices are released. Remove from heat and press through a sieve. Cool and add lemon juice to taste. Serve chilled. This is also yummy if you mix a little yogurt or sour cream in after it has cooled. After it's cooled, you can add more water if it's too thick for MaryAnn.
