Guest guest
I make quite often with the penne or corkscrew tri-colored pasta. It's even better the next day after the flavors have settled in. 8 oz. tri colored pasta (plain works well also) 1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger 1 clove garlic, minced 1 Tblspn. sesame oil or canola oil (sesame oil gives it lots of flavor) 3 cups shredded broccoli slaw mix 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce 1/4 cup sliced green onions (including tops) *Note I usually make my broccoli mix with grated broccoli bottoms, grate one small carrot and cabbage to make 3 cups. It's the perfect way to use the broccoli bottoms than so many people toss. Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet cook ginger and garlic in hot oil for 15 seconds. Stir in shredded broccoli mix, mushrooms. and teriyaki sauce. Cook and stir for 5 mins. or until broccoli mix is crisp-tender. To serve, toss mixture with hot pasta, add green onions and serve.
