Guest guest
My sister gave it to me for my birthday. The restaurant is by UCLA and my niece used to eat there all the time when she was in UCLA. I used to have her bring me home take out or her leftovers to pick into. The food is awesome. Now here's a tip. When you make macaroni salad you can also toss 1/2 cup salsa in with the mayo, it's delicious. I've been doing that for years. I use mild, I'm not like Shawn and Susie with the really hot stuff.....LOL Donna ~ PT ~ <patchouli_troll wrote:This cookbook sounds like a hoot! *lol* i love the recipe titles they use. Tres Californian chic! This sounds so yummy and i never would have thought to add corn to a macaroni salad, but i am going to try it. Bet it adds nice color without all those burps i get from green or yellow bell peppers. Where did you get this cookbook? Thanks for sharing the recipes you've tried from it. *s* ~ pt ~ Month of August - covered with foam is the beach; Blithesome the bee, full the hive; Better the work of the sickle than the bow. ~ anon. I've been trying recipes from this book for a few weeks, I'll post more later. I made this to go with dinner. Nope, there's none left over for lunch tomorrow. > > " Fleetwood Macroni Salad "
