Guest guest
Well, I am a female. But I do know that there are some men on this group and some of them actually do participate (including you!). I've never been a huge meat eater my entire life. Did grow up eating it, but when I went to college (1988) I began phasing it out. When I graduated, I started reading about becoming a vegetarian, but it took another 8 years before I took the full plunge. In 2000 I began the change. At first it was no cooking meat at home; but if I went out I might choose fish; but I tried not to. Then I finally just did it. I've had a few slips in the past; but it helps having a partner who is also a vegetarian. I still deal with my sister trying to force me to eat meat. I just keep saying " no, thank you. " I guess my tell-tale evidence of being a meat-eater is my family. Denise , David Penelope <ne14anap> wrote: > > > Did I miss something in membership guidelines?
