This is an easy to make side dish. I sometimes toss some TVP in it and then

is's a main dish dinner for me.

" Hungarian Cabbage Noodles "

2 tblsps. olive oil or canola oil

1 head of cabbage chopped

1 large onion cut in half and thinly sliced

12 oz. wide egg or eggless wide noodles

1 tblsp. poppy seeds

salt & pepper to taste

Heat oil in skillet and saute onion over medium heat until very light golden

brown. Add cavvage and a little water and stir fry until cabbage iis limp and

starting to brown. Takes about 10 mins.

Cook noodles according to package directions. When done rinse, drain and place

in large serving bowl. Add cabbage mixture, poppy seeds, toss and season to

taste.

Yum, thanks Donna. I needed something quick for tonight and I have all

the ingredients so no shopping needed. I'll add the TVP and I just may

have to add a can of tomatoes, too.
