Hi Chanda,

That is very sad and if you email her name I will remember her in my prayers.

Any broth with very finely diced carrots, zucchini, potatoes, orzo or alphabet

pasta will soften and mash with a fork. You are such a friend to help her.

I'll look through my cookbooks.

Also look in the files for a savory sauce I posted a few months back. It's very

sinple and she can pour this over mashed potatoes, etc.

She can cook other veggies and puree them in the blender and then add veggie

broth and herbs and spices to taste. Hugs, Donna

Hi All,

This is real important. We could be saving someone from serious depression here.

A friend of mine had mouth cancer and she literally had half her mouth removed.

She has next to no saliva which makes eating normal stuff impossible. She is now

a vegetarian, not for the same reasons as we are, but because meat is

impossible.

She is becoming so down because she says she is sick to death of Campbell's

soup. Her problem is that she has next to no salivary glands so all she can eat

is really wet stuff like soups and very saucy pasta cooked extra long.

I need soup recipes and pasta sauce recipes for her, or anything that is super

saucy (wet) or even veggie recipes that are super mushy.

Any tried and true recipes here. I brightened her night when I told her I would

ask the group, and there is hope of more than Campbell's soup.

Thanks and blessings,

Chanda
