Guest guest Posted July 27, 2005 Report Share Posted July 27, 2005 It was hot (sort of...Pacific Northwest after all) here today...made a classic greek salad for dinner - did all the work this morning so just had to pull stuff out of the fridge. Romain & green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, cukes...tossed with vinaigrette...then for " self application " since tastes vary at this point...feta cheese, pickled onion (sliced red with a sprinkle of sugar and a fair bit of rice vinegar) and kalumata olives. Also made hummus (2 cans garbanzo beans, juice of a lemon & a bit of lime juice left over from the slices I added to the water pitcher, garlic clove, salt and some olive oil & water) & sliced pita bread.
